Be a part of a team of Quality Engineers at the Mason, OH location, which applies their expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:u202F
• SME Quality team member to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to address quality issues, Customer Critical Alerts and Customer Issues by completing the 8D process.
• Partner with Product Engineers to complete 8D processes for CCA/CI Quality Issues. Ability to utilize tools such as (Mason Demo Loop, London/Danville Plants as resources to vet possible CAPA solutions)
• Coordinate with all functional areas, such as: Product Engineers, to create Built in Quality Checklists, which are implemented in Honeywell Manufacturing plant processes, globally, as needed.
• Produce customer and executive friendly communications, as needed, for quality issues. (i.e., Product Issue Alerts, Technical Service Bulletins)
• Assist Quality Engineers with Z21/NPI/NPE/VE projects which drive quality readiness, such as: QRL, Product Verification Plan and Report ( PVPnR) and due diligence on other functional deliverables through all project phase gates.
• Drive RPS methodology in IRs as required.
• Up to 10 Travel
MUST HAVE:u202Fu202F
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or at least 4 years experience in Quality Engineering field
• Conveyor Industry experience
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Knowledge of six sigma tools
