Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer (QE) to support Transition to Production (TTP) for the JASSM program in Orlando, FL. The position requires quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products. Responsibilities include:

Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.

Supports Integrated Product Teams and various production sites with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformance aging.

Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex.

Attends and leads program corrective action meeting, identifies trends, assists in problem resolution and insures responsible parties meet commitments.

Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.

Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100.

Evaluates the design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality.

Interfaces with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues.

Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.

Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field of study

Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.

Work experience with manufacturing processes and engineering documentation.

Ability to develop performance metrics using Microsoft Excel and Tableau to take appropriate action.

Ability to present technical data to senior leadership on a regular basis.

Ability to multi-task, be thorough and detail-oriented, with strong job closure and analytical skills.

Candidate must also demonstrate a strong ability to understand and communicate technical issues verbally and produce detailed presentations on a regular basis.

An ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Knowledge of non-conformance handling and disposition.

Knowledge of Quality Systems and processes.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
