Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) Senior for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. This position supports the Precision Fires QA Development Group. In a culture of continuous improvement, our department utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive affordability and efficiency. Working with an integrated team, which includes customers, suppliers, and other functional personnel, non-conformances are identified, trended, and resolved promptly.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer (QE) Senior, you will act as an integrated member of the product sustainment teams, developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspecting manufactured and procured products. Your responsibilities will include:
•Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Subcontracting, Program Management, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality standards are implemented and met throughout the product sustainment process.
•Provide technical data in support of engineering investigations.
•Provide support for root cause and corrective/preventative actions.
•Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex.
•Perform data integrity reviews and investigations.
•Contribute to Corrective Action Board meetings focusing on improvements and corrections.
•Drive closure to nonconformance reports.
•Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.
•Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive action.
•Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and are compliant with requirements.
•Work closely with Internal and External Customers to ensure adequate product acceptance.
•Travel to required inspection or delivery locations, ranging from day trips to multiple weeks (10+) up to 50+.
•Perform inspection of fielded hardware, document written and visual findings, and review documentation.
•The position requires previous quality engineering experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures.
•The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with attention to detail who can work autonomously with minimal direction in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at bachelors level or higher or equivalent experience/combined education.
Previous quality experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures
Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques
Thorough understanding of engineering requirements and inspection methods
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)

Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification
Familiar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment / Property during field, ground, or operational tests
Ability to obtain an international drivers license

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
