Position Summary
Coordinate activities for product approval based on PPAP elements against the clients specific requirements and product quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reviews of process documents against the process/product characteristics reflected in the drawing.
- Participation in activities and projects for cost reduction and continuous improvement such as Kaizen and HPTs.
- Update procedures that ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.
- Assurance of specific customer requirements in the development process and/or transfers of new products.
- Internal audits of quality systems.
- Promote an HPT work culture through participation in accordance with their role.
- Coordinate internal and external PPAP activities.
- Validations of new molds and/or transfers.
- Monitoring of internal systems such as Oracle, Scrap, OES, and Milestone
- Compliance with required client dates for PPAP submission.
- Work with different work teams such as planning, engineering, quality and production to define action plans in relation to new part numbers and/or transfers.
- Coordination of PPAP submission and client approvals through portals, and/or sales representatives.
- Preparation and coordination of FAIRs (first article inspection report).
- Verification and Approval for new tooling
- Comply, promote and actively participate in the requirements corresponding to the ISO 14001 quality and environmental management systems (SAA).In addition, all those similar activities and similar responsibilities that by the nature of the job are inherent to the position.
- Support and support for related areas such as calibration and metrology.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related engineering discipline.
- In the area of quality and customer contact, with a minimum experience of 3 years in a similar position, knowledge of run & rates preferably.
- Advanced English / Fluent spoken and written.
- Plans reading
- Core Tools: PFMEA, PFD, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP.
- Minitab
- Internal auditor preferably.
