Lockheed Martin eTech is looking for a senior systems engineer to join our team as a Radar algorithm technical lead focused on the design and implementation novel distributing sensing modes. In this position you will lead a cross-functional team in the identification, evaluation, and implementation of new signal and data processing chains in a latency sensitive embedded processing environment.

This role is part of the Converged Sensors department focused on innovating the next evolution of multi-function radar, electronic warfare, and communications sensor technologies within the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area of Lockheed Martin.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant development experience
- Strong mathematical background including linear algebra, adaptive processing, and AI/ML
- Radar or Electronic Warfare systems engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to support 10 travel
- Active or ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with passive coherent localization or similar technologies
- Experience in compressive sensing
- Experience defining rapid prototypes and demonstrations
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
