Acting as a site leader for our Enterprise Asset Management system (Maximo), you will be supporting our facilities, utilities, and operations maintenance teams.

Job Description

The GE Evendale campus is the headquarters site for GE Aviation.  Site activities include large parts manufacturing, engine assembly, and test operations, as well as engineering, development, and lab facilities for both commercial and military customers.  The 415-acre site includes 100 acres under roof.  Over 6,000 employees work onsite and includes a Union shop represented by the UAW, IAM, and IGUA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish standards and act as site wide point of contact for our Enterprise Asset Management software (Maximo)
  • Perform Continuous Improvement of maintenance instructions (Job Plans & PMs) for accuracy, efficiency, and in support of compliance with applicable regulations. 
  • Assess/identify opportunities to improve the equipment reliability, recommend solutions, and manage implementation. These opportunities will be a combination of, but not limited to, equipment installation, equipment set-up instructions, operation/utilization of the equipment, maintenance procedures, maintenance servicing issues, spare parts, reducing MTTR, etc.
  • Coach and train maintenance organization on system function and execution
  • Develop and track key maintenance metrics and reporting.
  • Presence on the shop floor and accessibility to all employees
  • Lead, coach, and influence individuals to deliver against business goals.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work climate with all employees.
  • Communicate organizational outputs, team wins and challenges to leadership.
  • Problem solve with cross functional teams across site to deliver for the customer.
  • Promote site Lean transformation and integrate into team culture.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements 

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, or operations)
  • 3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, operations, engineering, or operations
