Repair and Design Certification Experience Engineer (M/F)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Repair and Design Certification Engineer (f/m) to join our Airworthiness & Certification Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team in charge of approving repair solutions for the whole in-service Airbus fleet. As part of the Repair and Design Certification team, you will be approving in-service repair solutions but also supporting customer services to understand and ensure adherence to the process so that the best solution is provided to our customers. You will also be in charge of several of the following activities: technical referent, interface with other organisations, trainer, contribute to or manage project or working group.
We are in close collaboration with all Airbus design offices worldwide..

Your challenges:

• Provide Airworthiness approval of in-service repair solutions supported by the Repair and Design Approval Form (RDAF), and Flight Condition Documents (FCD).

• Interface with Airbus customer services, design offices, chief engineer teams and the other airworthiness departments.

• Act on request as airworthiness specialists in a multifunctional team to solve Aircraft on Ground situations (AOG).

• Be in charge of several of the following activities: technical referent, interface with other organisations, trainer, contribute to or manage project or working group.

Your boarding pass:

• You are educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in design office, customer services and/or in airworthiness. 

• A good knowledge in configuration management is a plus.

• Prior experience in modifications such as CVE, DAE …

• You are a real collaborative team player, reactive and curious.

• Your ability to negotiate and convince and ability to quickly take decisions 

• You are agile, adaptable, able to prioritize

• You have an advanced level in English.
