MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineer field +6 years of experience
· Thorough verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
· General knowledge of other related disciplines.
· Work independently for a majority of the time.
· Be able to climb into various areas of an aircraft with or without reasonable accommodation
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Visual Basic (or other programming language)
· Business Analyst experience
· Experience in aircraft interior design or furnishings design
· Familiar with FAR Part 21 and/or 25
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Work in an open office at a computer for long periods of time.
· On occasion be around loud noises (greater than 120 dB (rivets being installed, jet engines, etc)).
· Flying on occasion.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
· Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
· Presents new ideas verbally and through sketches, documents work activities in weekly reports.
· Coordinates assignments with other technical disciplines, drafts standard engineering documents
· Organizes and presents formal technical reviews, writes and edits engineering documents.
· Trains junior members of the team.
