Position Summary
Lead the technical and engineering efforts required to complete assigned projects including the coordination, monitoring and management of all technical resources assigned to the project.  Lead the technical team and provide advice, information and recommendations to the program management team to support cost, schedule and performance goals associated with the repair, design and installation of new equipment, upgrade, certification or modification of air vehicle structures, airframe, systems, avionics or flight controls. 
 
Plan and scope the technical and engineering activities and tasks across all technical disciplines, interface with the customer to full understand, quantify and promulgate customer requirements, establish performance standards, quality assurance plans, determine required project technical resources, provide technical analysis and advice to optimize schedule, identify and mitigate technical risks, plan and sequence work to ensure timely delivery of products including technical drawings, analyses and documentation, provide engineering status updates, review technical deliveries for completeness, accuracy and quality, ensure the proper documentation of design and modifications, and adjudicate/manage technical issues.
 
 
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience working on installation, modification, certification, or repair of air vehicle systems, structures, or avionics
Supervisory experience related to aerospace systems, particularly related to modification, certification, or maintenance of air vehicle systems, avionics, flight controls, or structures.
 
Desired Skills:
 
Masters degree in Engineering or Business
Experience in the certification of installation and modification of aircraft systems and structures.
