Description:Task responsibility will be primarily focused on

1. Establishment and deployment of top tier common standardized software engineering metrics across all Lines of Business.
• Will require working with the Aeronautics Engineering leadership and appropriate subject matter experts across programs to drive commonality into metrics reporting .
• Includes establishment and deployment of automated dashboards and delivery to both internal and external customers.

2. Providing direct functional engineering support for achievement of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Quality, On Time Delivery and Commitment to Long Rang Plan objectives, through close collaboration with the Aeronautics Software Engineering Process owners , Chief Engineers and Software Quality Council Chairs and Co-Chairs to address :
• Close engagement with engineering teams to ensure Software engineering process governance with focus for both process enhancement and continuous improvement
• Increased collaboration across Engineering and Quality organizations
• Support for System Software Quality Findings / iCAR / CAR actions, audits and other special initiatives to drive corrective action and increase overall software product quality

3. Support Engineering & Technology Combat Systems organization in driving the Combat Systems Best in 3 strategic project portfolio, specifically as related to Software Engineering process, practices, methods and innovation.

• Extensive knowledge with and experience in using the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics standard Software Engineering Development Process, from both governance and execution perspectives.
• Extensive experience and knowledge across multiple product / platform software development activities.
• Knowledge and experience with Waterfall and Agile development approaches.
• Proven ability to drive achievement of project objectives across organizational and functional boundaries.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
