Role Overview:
We are seeking multiple Principal Systems Engineers to join our Jet Engine/Turbofan Propulsion Project Engineering team. In this exciting role, you’ll lead the planning, estimation, and execution of complex turbofan engine designs and aircraft integration projects. As a Principal Systems Engineer, you’ll drive the development of innovative propulsion systems and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex turbofan engine design and aircraft integration projects, including planning, estimating, and executing each phase.
Collaborate with aircraft OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), customers, and other critical stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Manage project teams, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget, while maintaining a high level of quality.
Use program management tools like EVMS (Earned Value Management System), Cost Account Management, Jira/Agile, and requirements-based systems engineering to drive project success.
Oversee and guide the integration of engine modules into aircraft, ensuring compliance with all specifications and regulations.

What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:

5-10+ years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, engine module lead roles, or aircraft/propulsion engine certification and testing.
Proficiency with EVMS, Cost Account Management, Jira/Agile, and systems engineering.
Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to work independently and guide teams effectively.
Experience working closely with aircraft OEMs and other critical stakeholders.
Must be local to Phoenix, Arizona or willing to relocate quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in electric propulsion systems or fuel cells is a plus.
Advanced degrees or certifications in Aerospace Engineering or related fields.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
