Job Description
Job Duties:
- Develop and design aerospace components and systems in accordance with project requirements
- Conduct detailed analysis and testing to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into overall aircraft systems
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design and development process
- Participate in design reviews and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance design processes
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in aerospace design and development
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and other design tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace design and development
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software CATIA
- Understanding of aerospace regulations and standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) licence
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role at the Samlesbury site (hybrid)
- Collaboration with diverse teams within the aerospace industry
- Potential travel for project meetings and client visits
