- 10+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully building and leading high-performing data engineering teams.
- Deep hands-on technical expertise in data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
- Strong knowledge of modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, dbt).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services.
- Excellent understanding of data governance, compliance, and security principles.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of real-time data processing frameworks and streaming technologies.
- Background in machine learning operations (MLOps) and data science infrastructure.
- Experience working in the aviation, transportation, or logistics industry or with similar data challenges.
- Track record of speaking at industry conferences or publishing on data engineering topics.
Salary Range: $210,000 - 250,000
Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
