We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to guide the development of innovative products and solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical requirements, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Product Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and communicate the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer needs.
- You will help the team translate the VSL’s (Value Stream Leader) product vision and roadmap into deliverables.
- Collaborate with the UX team to ensure that UX and user stories are fully aligned.
- Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity in user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Work with Scrum Masters on scheduling/driving Sprint Planning, Grooming, Product Backlog or Defect Review meeting(s).
- PI Planning: Work with Business to scope out the PI Planning objectives. Take ownership of PI plan readout.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, gathering feedback and ensuring that stakeholder needs are met.
- Technical Insight: Leverage technical knowledge to guide the development team, helping them understand technical constraints, opportunities, and optimal solutions.
- Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning meetings, ensuring the team is clear on priorities, scope, and objectives for each iteration.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and validate that completed features align with business requirements and are free of defects.
- User Acceptance Testing: Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to gather feedback from stakeholders and ensure product usability and functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities for process improvements within the Agile framework and foster a culture of continuous delivery and innovation.
- Reporting and Metrics: Analyze data and metrics to assess product performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve product offerings.
- Training and Support: Provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders on new features, ensuring successful product adoption.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the product internally and externally for queries related to the product, knowledge transfer and product demos
Skills We Value:
- Product Owner or Product Manager Certification.
- Highly collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to be flexible, diplomatic, persistent, and energetic.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, open to change and working in a fluid environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional communication and facilitation skills.
- Aerospace knowledge and experience should be an added advantage.
- Experience in Scaled Agile Framework.
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience.
