    Key Responsibilities:

    Great opportunity to be a part of a brand new best-in-class product & engineering team to create a new product from the world’s best and largest airline. A collaborative and experienced manager with experience in solution architecture and engineering. Excited to oversee the development of a powerful AdTech ecosystem with a team of highly motivated engineers designing system architecture and driving platform integrations.

    • Lead team of adtech and architecture engineers to flawlessly deliver roadmap of Advertising technology products and solutions to support United’s traveler media network
    • Review engineers’ recommendations, providing specification that helps translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design
    • Manage roadmap and coordinate with feature owners to ensure the delivery of technological solutions to business problems, align roadmaps with upper management
    • Translate technical project details into a language that upper management and non-technical collaborators can understand
    • Oversee testing and deployment of solutions, ensuring that all quality attributes such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, reliability, and cost of a product all conform to established guidelines
    • Constantly look for better ways of optimizing team performance by observing macro trends in the product development lifecycle, responsible for success and productivity of the team
    • Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in an information technology solutions architecture role
    • 1-3 years of experience managing a team with a strong track record of delivering results
    • Ability to understand the different Enterprise Architecture view points (business, information, software and technology architecture) and their dependencies
    • Ability to communicate complex issues to audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge in a manner that is easily understood and actionable
    • Ability to understand business processes E2E and their implementation through technology
    • Ability to manage technical teams and deliver results
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of working in Information Technology

  • 2+ years of experience managing project delivery and/or application development teams in AdTech field
  • Experience working with Amazon or Google Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with online user data – including best practices, and Consent / Identity Management tools
  • Experience working with AdServer, SSPs, DSPs, Identity Providers
  • Strong understanding of adTech standards and protocols (VAST, VPAID, OpenRTB) and real-time bidding (RTB) / programmatic advertising
  • Ability to understand the different Enterprise Architecture view points (business, information, software and technology architecture) and their dependencies
  • Ability to communicate complex issues to audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge in a manner that is easily understood and actionabl
  • Ability to understand business processes E2E and their implementation through technology
  • Ability to manage technical teams and deliver results
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools for performance monitoring and optimization
  • Data clean room experience is plus
