This dynamic position isa key member of our Quality team and will be responsible for QualityEngineering and Continuous Improvement activities relating to externalcustomers, internal processes, and suppliers. This position will haveresponsibility to drive strategic corrective / preventative action projects aswell as Strategic Quality Plan initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs analysis of reports and production data and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products and recommends corrective actions when necessary
  • Compile reporting data to provide an overhaul scorecard of quarterly metrics for presentation to Sr. Leadership
  • Implements, evaluates, and revises, technical quality assurance protocols/methods
  • Ensures activities and items are in compliance with Honeywell quality assurance standards applicable government regulations and customers requirements
  • Works directly with customers to support product/process evaluations, audits, and compliance to customer-specific requirements
  • Review, create, revise manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control plans and procedures are in place and ensure they are being followed
  • Support product/process evaluations, audits
  • Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure continued compliance to international standards, requirements, and applicable government regulations
  • Leads and facilitates multi-disciplined RCCA and problem-solving teams
  • Position will support compliance to ISO9001, AS9100
  • Ability to Review and Interpret Engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
  • Ability to setup, modify and create SAP inspection plans
  • Continuous improvement projects and coordination
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelors degree in related fields
  • 3+ years experience in a manufacturing quality role or 5 years experience in a technical manufacturing role
  • 2+ years experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 D Auditing
  • Advanced Experience in Excel Functions, Pivot Tables, and Formulas

WE VALUE:

  •  Quality Engineering in an Aerospace function
  • Material Review Board, Preliminary Review Board, Airworthiness Review Board and Hardware Review Committee experience
  • Experience with Tableau, SAP in an analytical environment
  • Experience with Parts Per Million, Quality Escapes and identifying trends
  • Prior audit experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced experience in PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to work equally well with executives, engineers, supervisors, and operators
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, and be proficient in interpreting and applying established standards
  • Net-Inspect, Teamcenter, Supplemental Purchase Order Conditions Manual (SPOC) and HOS experience
  • Lean - Six Sigma methodologies experience and certification
  • First Article Inspection Reports Completion/Review
