Job Description SummaryThe Senior Repair Manufacturing Engineering Leader role is responsible for coordinating all technical aspects for the Dayton Component Repair Business. This role requires high level strategic support for current and future success. This includes guidance for team members and peers across all segments of the business. There are high levels of autonomy and partnership with other business divisions to shape and grow the business.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

  • Primary technical engineering focal for complex strategic business efforts
  • Cross functional collaboration with Quality, Operations, Repair Engineering and Commercial teams to achieve business level objectives
  • Provide professional and technical guidance/leadership for Repair Manufacturing Engineering team
  • Determine priority for business level projects to provide highest level impact for investment
  • Repair business capital expense focal
  • Directly support commercial and technical inquiries from repair customers
  • Interpret technical information from regulatory and customer authorities to determine impact on business
  • Collaborate with global partners to drive projects and initiatives for the Services organization
  • Coordinate repair industrialization effort to meet business needs
  • Lead all special process ownership efforts for repair organization
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute technical business continuity for long term business success

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
