Raytheon’s Maritime Systems & Platforms department is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join our System Integration team. Integration and Test engineers are responsible for interconnecting subsystems, identifying and resolving system level issues that may stem from software or hardware anomalies, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level requirements verification.
What You Will Do:
- Integration of Naval Platform Combat System – Including Anti Air Warfare domains including Missile (ESSM/SM2), RF sensors, C2/C3I, and Weapon Control air defense, threat identification & tracking, intercept of anti-ship missiles/threat aircraft
- Support system level integration planning, execution, and reporting
- You will communicate and collaborate with other Senior and Principal Level Engineers, mentoring junior engineers/interns.
- You will be responsible for providing direct support to stakeholders to answer questions and solve technical issues.
- Anti Air Warfare domains including Missile (ESSM/SM2) performance, RF sensors, C2/C3I, and Weapon Control air defense, threat identification & tracking, intercept of anti-ship missiles/threat aircraft
- Occasional travel will be required, approximately 10.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM Preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux
- Experience in software and/or integration and test
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience working on teams that use Agile Principles and Methodologies
- Experience with Naval Shipboard Combat Systems
- Proficient working with Atlassian tech stack (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience working with Jenkins or similar toolset
- Experience working with GIT
- Scrum Master experience
- MATLAB experience

This position is an onsite role - Portsmouth, RI
The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
