Description:Systems Engineer - Requires a Bachelors degree, or higher, in Electrical, Mechanical, Aero, or Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with a keen interest in weapon system development or Fire control development. Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++ is desired. Strong background in mathematics and proficiency in MATLAB or a related simulation tool is preferred. Course work or related experience in control theory and/or electro-optics, Requirements Development, Systems Architecture and Design, System analysis, radar pattern recognition, image processing, Aerodynamics, guidance and navigation and modeling and simulation, integration and testing of hardware and/or software components is highly beneficial.

Performs tasks and assignments emphasizing development of technical and strategic leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured framework within the engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and systems. Must have good communication skills, and work in a teaming environment and be capable of solving cross-functional technical problem.

Analyzes customers initial design specifications and recommends basic product specifications and techniques to satisfy customer requirements. Develops, coordinates and conducts trade studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and designs. Recommends designs and performs testing to achieve required levels to meet product requirements. Generates and analyzes performance reports and process control procedures; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education

Ability to obtain a security clearance

Must be US Citizen
