Responsibilities:
- Identify and capture new business opportunities in SIGINT, SATCOM, COMINT, and Direction Finding (DF) systems spanets.
- Lead internal research & development (IRAD) initiatives across multiple programs.
- Develop system architectures and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for SIGINT, COMINT, and EW applications.
- Engage with Intelligence Community (IC) and Defense customers, establishing and maintaining key relationships.
- Analyze and characterize SATCOM and communication signals across L, C, and K spectrums.
- Design and evaluate RF signal processing systems, including direction-finding arrays, algorithms, and system performance modeling.
- Oversee system modeling, simulation, and algorithm development in MATLAB or Python.
- Develop testing criteria and execute validation for signal processing solutions.
- Collaborate with business area leadership to align strategies, capabilities, and investments with SIGINT and EW spanets.
- Perform competitor analysis and establish teaming relationships for business pursuits.
- Work with Export Compliance teams to secure necessary export licenses for international projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Experience: 10+ years in SIGINT, COMINT, RF systems, or related fields.
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI clearance preferred; ability to obtain a TS/SCI within a reasonable timeframe is required.
- Industry Expertise:
- Deep understanding of the SIGINT, COMINT/DF, and EW spanets, including key customers and competitors.
- Experience developing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) software.
- Expertise in signal processing algorithm development using MATLAB or Python.
- Background in fielding complex RF and signal processing solutions in fast-paced development environments.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams, manage tasks independently, and deliver creative technical solutions.
- Communication & Travel: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to travel worldwide up to 20.
