Making the transition from Military to Civilian life is exciting and CAE is proud to help. In partnership with the Skillbridge program, CAE provides an opportunity to make that transition even more seamless. As a Skillbridge intern at CAE you will learn how to leverage your technical and leadership skills in the civilian world with the goal of joining our team full time at the conclusion of your internship.
DoD Skillbridge Eligibility:
u00B7 Has served at least 180 days on active duty
u00B7 Is within 12 months of separation or retirement
u00B7 Will receive an honorable discharge
u00B7 Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
u00B7 Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
u00B7 Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD Skillbridge Program prior to start of internship
Summary
As an Integration Test Engineer at CAE, you are part of the program team which strives to, not only meet, but exceed our customersu2019 expectations. Test Engineers support flight training devices and associated sub-components, including instruments, panels, and fully integrated cockpits and work closely with Hardware, Systems and Software Engineering.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

u00B7 Troubleshoot and perform maintenance procedures for reconfigurable simulators
u00B7 Provide inputs to technical documents
u00B7 Work in an integrated product team environment
u00B7 Plan and maintain the schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
Qualifications and Education Requirements
u00B7 BS degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience
u00B7 7+ years aircraft avionics or test equipment experience
u00B7 Experience using general test equipment, such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
u00B7 Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, Engineering Orders, wiring lists, diagrams, schematics
u00B7 Understanding of digital electronics, electrical and mechanical operations and repair.
u00B7 Experience working in a production environment
u00B7 Excellent communication skills including written, interpersonal and team communication abilities
u00B7 Active DoD Secret Clearance within a five-year investigation period
u00B7 Flexibility to support occasional overtime, weekend work, shift work and site travel (CONUS)
u00B7 Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
u00B7 Avionics experience working with Technical Orders
u00B7 Knowledge of different testing methodologies (e.g., White/Gray/Black box testing)
u00B7 Prior Military Experience
u00B7 Licensed pilot

Must complyu202Fwith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.u202F Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.u202F All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
u00B7 Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
