Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software within Honeywell Safety & Productivity Solutions. Participate in all technical aspects of the software engineering effort to develop highly effective customized Vocollect software solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Assist with designing, developing and implementing solutions using a variety of structured and object-oriented tools, including C, Java, SQL, and other graphical and report generation tools. Communicate development issues to management for both design and scheduling purposes. Participate effectively in the design process and software development life cycle in a global team environment and take ownership of previously existing software. Handle several concurrent tasks, meeting scheduled milestones accordingly. Interface with internal and external customers in a high-energy environment.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor degree in engineering or computer science.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with web application development preferably with Java based technologies such as Hibernate or similar object-relational mapping (ORM), Spring Framework, Struts2, FreeMarker, and JavaScript.

• Ability to travel up to 20
