Software Engineer III for Intelligrated Services, LLC in Mason, OH
Responsibilities:
Develop complex project and standard library PLC (programmable logic controller) code.
Design and set up Ethernet IP network configurations (including screens, reports and HMI - Human Machine Interface).
Maintain and track issues and report progress as requested.
Participate in PLC code reviews and audits, and participate in executing test plans on site, which includes both internal and customer acceptance testing.
Work on developing system architecture, operation descriptions, functional specifications and interfacing documents for equipment.
Will be required to monitor project phasing and adhere to project specifications while maintaining as sold scope.
Will assign resources tasks for on-site commissioning as well as maintain the site resource plans.
Will assist with training the client to facilitate project turnover.
Will review the client Scope of Work/ Request for Proposal/ Request for Quote and communicate and resolve all internal and customer reported issues.
Will be required to attend weekly team meetings, review scheduled tasks, and report project progress on a regular basis.
Will be required to manage project budgets ($3M average budget) and report monthly.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have aBachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field and four (4) yearsof experience in any position where the required experience was gained.Alternatively, employer will accept a Masters degree in the stated fields andtwo (2) years of listed experience. Full term of experience must include: extensiveknowledge of Material Handling Equipment including high speed merging, highspeed sorting, VFDs, barcode scanners; creating complex PLC code usingRockwell Studio software; and communicating complex concepts to the customerand other engineers using verbal and written communications. Up to 50domestic/international travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2)times per week.
