Description:Seeking a strong Software Engineer to join the Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) team. The primary focus will be to support our efforts as we improve maintenance support of the F-22 aircraft. Must be motivated, able to solve moderate to complex issues, and have strong communication skills (technical and non-technical). Candidate must have proven experience in software engineering.
The candidate will be joining a collaborative team, and will need to:
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent.
The candidate must have an ability and willingness to obtain a Secret Clearance and be US citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience developing software using Java, C++, Python, Javascript, PL/SQL, YAML and HTML
• As a practical networking knowledge of Configuring ports/firewalls/subnets
• Knowledge of software lifecycle
• Experience troubleshooting software coding issues
• Knowledge of Integration Maintenance Information System (IMIS)
Desired Skills:
• Ansible-core experience
• Knowledge of cyber security requirements
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within multiple teams
• Experience with Solaris and Linux OS
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
