Software Engineering Summer Intern- Data Analytics Team Panasonic Avionics Corporation – Irvine, CA (Hybrid) Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking motivated Software Engineering Summer Intern to join our growing Data, Analytics, and Personalization team in our Irvine, CA office. This paid internship will start in May/June and continue through August/September 2024 with an opportunity to potentially continue through the school year. Candidate must be enrolled in school. How you will spend your summer: - Software engineering interns in our Data, Analytics, and Personalization team will actively contribute to real-world projects involving inflight entertainment and connectivity. Theyll assist in the design & development of data / AI-enabled software applications, support software testing, and aid in personalization strategies.
- Projects may include refining data management APIs & services, recommendation systems, personalization services, and exploring innovative ways to enhance the overall inflight experience.
What you bring: Passion and knowledge in one or more of the following technical areas: - Major programing languages (C/C++, Python, node.js, etc.) and Linux shell scripting
- Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
- Backend engineering (TCP, HTTP, REST, MQTT, Docker, etc.)
- Test automation
- Cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- Data engineering and machine learning
