As a Sr Advanced Software Engineer on our dynamic Fire Software Team, within Honeywell Business Automation (BA) organization, you will have the opportunity to work on sophisticated projects that enhance our SaaS Platforms and drive customer connectivity and management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and automation of cutting-edge software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop robust software solutionswith a strong emphasis on SaaS platforms, optimizing for scalability andperformance.
- Collaborate withcross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them intowell-defined technical requirements.
- Manageapplications at scale, ensuring high availability and performance in line withindustry best practices.
- Develop, test, andmaintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration with other systems andservices.
- Utilize MicrosoftAzure services to deploy and manage applications, ensuring optimal use of cloudtechnologies for enhanced performance and reliability.
- Create advancedreporting solutions, leveraging experience with reporting tools and frameworksto provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work withfront-end technologies such as Angular, and back-end technologies like .NET andSQL Server, delivering full-stack development capabilities.
- Conduct codereviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor junior team members insoftware development methodologies and technologies.
- Collaborate ongrooming and refining software solutions to improve user experience and overallfunctionality.
- Engage withcustomers to understand their needs and ensure solutions align with theirexpectations and requirements.
YOU MUST HAVE- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- A minimum of 6 yearsof experience in software development, specifically within SaaS platformenvironments
- Proven expertisein Microsoft Azure services and cloud computing.
- Strong experiencein full-stack development, specifically with .NET, Angular, and SQL Server.
- In-depth knowledgeof API design and development, with practical experience managing APIlifecycles.
- Demonstratedability to manage applications at scale and ensure robust customer connectivityand management.
WE VALUE- Experience withAgile and Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge ofDevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in theFire Safety or related domain is a plus.
- Familiarity with advanced reporting solutions and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
