Sr Advanced Software Engineer

Job Description:

Improve business and family comfort, protection and productivityHoneywell International, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer for our Atlanta, GA location.
Design, develop and integrate highly complex software applications within Honeywell. Serve as an active and integral member of a team to achieve the completion of goals. Generate innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. Involved in any or all the phases of the software development starting with customer interaction and elaborating the requirement to prototype, design, coding, testing, deploy and support within the agile development framework working with other senior developers in the team.

MUST HAVE:

bachelor in computer science/ computer application plus 7 years of experience or master in computer science plus 5 years of experience.
5+ Years of experience in system administration, application development, infrastructure development
5+ years of demonstrated expertise in building and managing highly scaled production infrastructure in the cloud (Azure or google cloud)
5+ years of experience in APM tools like App dynamics, Prometheus & Grafana.
Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform & Ansible.
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing the workload on Kubernetes like AKS & Openshift.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in DevOps or site reliability practices.

WE VALUE

3+ yrs Experience in RDBMS and columnar
5+ yrs Experience in handling any type of large scale distributed data management systems ( be it on any technology - Influx, Cassandra, Druid, Elastic)
5+ yrs experience in how to setup up observability for distributed systems.
Minimum 5 years of experience in multiple programming languages like python., node JS & java
Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous integration & deployment
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing API gateway.
