As a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer with expertise in Systems, Networks and Cyber Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Cyber Security measures, conducting regular assessments and audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate best practices into system design and implementation. Services provided include on-site and remote consulting, troubleshooting, network designs, implementation, assessments, and other related tasks as identified.

This position is responsible for providing on-site cyber security, Network and OT services associated with industrial Process Control Networks for Honeywell customers in the Oil and Gas; Hydrocarbon Processing; Power Generation; Pulp, Paper & Printing; Continuous Web Solutions; Petrochemicals; Life Sciences; and Metals, Minerals and Mining markets. 

LOCATION: The role is Texas-based remote, allowing work from home or remotely at customer sites. Occasional in-office meetings may be necessary. The ideal candidate should reside in Texas and within close proximity to a major airport to accommodate travel requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Project Lead assigned to designated projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery, meeting customer satisfaction benchmarks.
•Serve as the primary engineer guiding junior team members through project execution.
•Stay abreast of advancements in HPS networking and wireless product/systems portfolio, maintaining expertise in specific network disciplines.
•Attain and uphold cybersecurity certifications, both new and existing, to bolster proficiency.
•Stay informed about industry security standards like IEC-62443, ISO 27000, etc.
•Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through efficient technical and engineering support.
•Address customer inquiries and issues by promptly diagnosing problems and delivering accurate technical solutions.
•Uphold industrial safety standards by completing relevant safety certifications.
•Travel up to 50 - 75, primarily domestic.

YOU MUST HAVE:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
•6+ years in industrial automation, networking, or systems engineering
•5+ years working with networks,  IT or OT Security 
•1+ years of experience leading projects

WE VALUE:
•Bachelors degree in a computer related field such as Computer Science, Computer Systems, Telecommunications, Process Control, Electronics or in lieu of degree
•8+ years in industrial automation, networking, or systems engineering
•Audit/assessment experience
•Virtualization experience, preferably VM CISCO Certified Network/Design/Security Professional
•Automation, SCADA, DCS, and Linux Security Basics experience
•Proficiency in Fiber Optics and Telecommunications
•Cyber Security Risk Analysis and csHazop experience
•Process Control system design/implementation (DCS/SIS)
•Troubleshooting skills for complex network, application, or system integration issues
•LAN/WAN architecture and diagnostic tools expertise
•Design and optimization of complex LAN environments
•Knowledge of LAN/WAN and wireless networking principles and protocols
•Experience with TCP/IP protocols, Network Security, Cisco Routers/Switches/Firewalls
•Familiarity with Microsoft technologies - Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server
•Expertise in anti-virus systems, backup & restore solutions, system management.
•Fault Tolerant Ethernet (Honeywell product) and Honeywell Experion knowledge
•Understanding of NIST, IEC-62443, ISO 27000, CNSSI publications
•Experience with Honeywell DCS and networks
•Detail-oriented, open-minded, effective communicator, and customer service-oriented
•CISSP or similar security certification
•Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
•CWSP or similar experience in Certified Wireless Security Professional
