As a Sr. Director, Security Architecture &Engineering here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading andmanaging the security architecture and engineering function within the company.You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technicalleadership, and operational oversight to the security architecture andengineering teams. The Sr. Director of Security Architecture & Engineering willcollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation,ensure the implementation of robust security measures, and achieve businessobjectives.

This person will need to be based in the US and may operate on a remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the securityarchitecture and engineering function
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of securityarchitecture and engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersto drive innovation and achieve business objectives
• Ensure adherence to security best practices, standards,and regulatory requirements
• Manage and optimize security architecture and engineeringresources, budgets, and timelines
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhanceefficiency and productivity
• Lead and develop a high-performing security architectureand engineering team
• Drive SDLC practices across the company
• Develop and deploy cloud security automation practices tosecure all hosted platforms.
• Manage MSSP for Pen Testing services to proactivelyensure all compliance needs are met.

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. 

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in security architecture andengineering roles
• Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams andstakeholders
• Strong technical expertise in security architecture andengineering
• Proven track record of successful project execution anddelivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonalskills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
