As part of the ACST (Advanced Connected Sustainability Technologies) Information Technology team, you will have the opportunity to solve complex computing challenges, work directly with end users, and explore cutting-edge solutions that support engineering, scientific and business needs. This role will be responsible for the implementation and support of applications used to support various ACST business and engineering teams. These applications function in multiple networks including completely isolated or air-gapped networks, limited-access special use networks and generally available on the Honeywell Enterprise network. This role also provides mentoring/direction to IT customer support analysts to broaden their exposure to ACST applications.
The salary range for this position is ($94,400.00 - $142,000.00). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
Locations: Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO
Responsibilities Include:
- Assess and validate business requests from a technical perspective for new and updated applications.
- Research and identify IT tools and utilities that automate manual processes or improve on the result of existing tools.
- Work closely with the infrastructure team to assure that the infrastructure required to support applications is in place to include backup, recovery, and space utilization.
- Provide mentoring and problem escalation support to ACST IT customer support analysts.
- Assure that application data protections (availability, integrity, authorization, access, and encryption) are identified and implemented.
- Maintain a relationship with key system users to become/stay aware of system issues in need of attention or needs that should be considered for future enhancements.
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance
YOU MUST HAVE:
- U.S. Citizenship and able to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- 5+ years of experience in operational support
- Experience in the installation and support of application services across an enterprise.
- Basic understanding of enterprise VMware server virtualization technologies
WE VALUE:
- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
- Scripting and task automation
- Experience in software development: designing, development, and debugging.
- Execution against aggressive timelines and ability to deliver on challenging commitments, as well as quickly changing priorities.
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving and incident management within complex application environments
- Ability to create, update and maintain technical documentation.
- Be willing to occasionally work after hours.
