AGN stands as a vital global network servicing and supporting the Aviation and Transportation industries community of interest.
As a key member of the AGN Implementation team, youll play a pivotal role in deploying, maintaining, and operating the ARINC Global Network. Your expertise in advanced networking concepts and technologies, including routing, switching and firewall solutions primarily on Cisco platforms, will drive the success of our network architecture.

What YOU will do:
- Manage multiple projects from start to finish
- Directly interfacing with customers and field technicians
- Order and activate WAN circuits; troubleshoot if necessary
- Procure equipment per project requirements
- Configure Cisco routers and switches according to set design
- Coordinate shipping and/or export control (as required)
- Create cutover/migration plans
- Schedule and perform cutovers with customers
- Update documentation (change orders, asset records, circuit records and diagrams)
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends to accommodate global customer change windows
Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a STEM degree from a University and less than 5 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience with configuring Cisco routers and switches in a production WAN environment
- Experience building full working router configurations by using templates and guidelines
- Experience with BGP routing protocol
- Experience with building Site-to-Site VPNs and DMVPN
- Experience with WAN technologies and protocols such as T1/E1, Frame-Relay, HDLC, DSL, Private Cellular, MPLS, and DMVPN
- Experience troubleshooting and/or isolating network related problems
Skills we value:
- Previous experience implementing WAN connectivity
- Experience working with LTE cellular connectivity as backup
- Experience working in a large-scale WAN environment
- Experience working in a Service Provider environment
- Functional knowledge of the ARINC Global Network (AGN) preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred
- Ability to work in a face paced environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
