KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Design and implement advanced process control strategies to enhance the efficiency and reliability of industrial processes.
•Develop and configure distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
•Analyze and optimize existing control systems to improve process performance, reduce downtime, and enhance overall system efficiency.
•Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation in the manufacturing environment.
•Provide technical support for process control systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
•Perform regular maintenance activities and updates to ensure the stability and security of control systems.
•Lead technical planning, system integration, validation, capital cost analysis, ROI assessment, and risk management for automated manufacturing equipment connected to the Process Control Network (PCN).
•Understand PLC Data Acquisition, design solutions based on site requirements, and collaborate with various teams for equipment orders.
•Manage a pipeline of projects within a specific technology area at 1-2 sites.
•Design, deploy, and implement automation projects hardware and software for monitoring and/or controlling the manufacturing process.
•Create Statements of Work and Project Charters in collaboration with vendors and integrators.
•Ensure thorough risk analysis to mitigate challenges with machine or process qualification steps.
•Implement system requirements into solutions meeting technical, time, and cost objectives at selected Honeywell locations.
•Apply specialized knowledge and skills in project teams based on focus areas.
•Utilize simulation tools for evaluating current and designing future solutions in manufacturing.
•Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.
•Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and operating procedures.
•Develop and update control system documentation to comply with industry standards and regulations.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process engineers, instrumentation specialists, and maintenance personnel, to integrate control systems seamlessly into overall plant operations.
•Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics 
•3+ years of experience in operational technology systems in a manufacturing environment.

WE VALUE:
•Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
•5+ years of experience in operational technology systems in a manufacturing environment.
•Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining process control systems.
•Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
•Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, and other control system technologies.
•Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to process control systems.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
•Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
•Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in manufacturing environments.
•Knowledge of technologies such as SCADA, process control systems, MES, SAP, industrial networks, and related protocols.
•Advanced degree, Six Sigma Lean Expert or Black Belt, PMP Certification (preferred).
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, data analytics, and optimization techniques.
•Broad knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, particularly in OT systems.
•Experience with Web Development (ASP.NET).
