Join a team that develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of semiconductors. You will have significant influence on the design manufacturing engineering processes pertaining to semiconductors, and determine parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.

Key Responsibilities

•         Develop and support production test programs for a range of silicon wafer based sensor devices on multiple test platforms (Teradyne, LTX, COHU, KVD or similar)

•         Provide Engineering support of production test program equipment for both upstream and downstream processes

•         Coordinates activities of between test, process, manufacturing engineering and design staff regarding devide performance results and optimization.

•         Partner with quality, production and design engineers to execute quality and yield improvements.

•        Interface with suppliers and subcontractors for hardware and software projects.

•         Develop sustainable procedures and capabilities to ensure high quality and cost effective test program development.

•        Lead/facilitate problem solving and cross functional teams to resolve product/process issues

•       Teach and mentor junior engineers in best practices for test program development and documentation.

•         Drive continual process improvement activities with 5S, lean practices, eliminating waste, and improving efficiency

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

•                  Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering, sciences, technology, or mathematics

•                  5+ years of related experience in test program development

WE VALUE

•                  C/C++ programming or similar

•                  Knowledge and experience of Teradyne, KVD, LTX/COHU tester platforms (especially combined with Laser Trimming)

•                  Experience in production manufacturing/test of the semiconductor devices.
