Job Details:
The T&TI Software Development Engineering team is looking for dynamic Senior Software Engineers. The candidate will be a participant in the full software development life cycle on a software development team with the responsibility of developing embedded software from design through software unit test. The candidate will interpret software requirements and translate these artifacts into well formed software design. The candidate work with other software team members creating the software design utilizing both written descriptions and Unified Modeling Language diagrams. The candidate will be expected to make design trade-offs, defend design decisions, and ensure the production of high quality code within budget and schedule. The candidate will ensure fulfillment of requirements leveraging a well defined software process.

Job Requirements:
Must Have Requirements:
  • Embedded systems C/C++ or Ada software development experience (4+ years)
  • Experience following a well defined software development process
  • Motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
  • Candidate must hold a current ACTIVE U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance
A successful candidate should possess the following (ranked):
  • Cryptography systems or methods
  • Experience with multi-threaded real-time embedded applications
  • Experience in developing products for military applications meeting government security or safety standards
  • Experience with OOA/D architectures and design patterns
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work well with others in a professional team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while balancing priorities and schedules
A successful candidate may possess the following:
  • TCP/IP network applications development experience (4+ years)
  • UML experience (2+ years)
  • Linux OR with Green Hills Integrity development experience
  • Enterprise Architect experience (1+ years)
  • Background and/or knowledge of range test and training systems
  • Knowledge and cognizance of Live Virtual Constructive concepts
Additional:
  • 18 months with a possible option to extend ; could be contract to hire for the right candidates.
  • Mu U.S. DOD Secret Clearance ; Highly Prefer a 4 Year Degree.
