Description:This position is for the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) System Development Activity (SDA) Systems Engineering (SE) Lead. This position is a part of the Weapons Systems Command and Control Engineering (WSC2E) organization within the Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Line of Business at the LM Valley Forge site in King of Prussia, PA.

The successful candidate will take on the SDA SE Lead position providing overall direction and coordination for all members of the SDA SE team, both internal and external to LM. As part of this role, you will lead candidate change package definition, requirement changes, coordinating integrated software build delivery schedules, and update artifacts. Additional responsibilities include leading and participate in change review boards (CRBs) and resource planning group (RPG) meetings, support updates to engineering change proposals (ECPs) and statement of functionality (SoF) reports, delivery order estimates, participate in SDA and contractor meetings, updating job instructions (Jis) and other SDA and contractor processes, and providing weekly external reports. Additionally, this person will be in a position to drive change and innovation to a program with proven impact to our Nation and aid in the continual evolution of this program.

Basic Qualifications:
In depth knowledge of and experience with systems engineering processes on TTWCS.
Working knowledge of Weapons Control System architecture and associated specification trees.
Proven technical leadership experience on medium or large-scale system development or sustainment program.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 14 years or more of professional experience, 12 years of professional experience with a Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Proven understanding of the engineering development process including requirements development/traceability/management.
Ability and willingness to support occasional travel.
Desired Skills:
Experience leading or participating in change request boards.
Knowledge of project schedule management principles.
In depth knowledge of model-based systems engineering and associated toolsets (e.g. Cameo).
Agile System Development processes (e.g. SaFE).
Backlog management and issue tracking using Jira.
Masters degree or higher from an accredited university in Systems Engineering or applicable engineering or science field.
Ability to multi-task, outstanding effective communication skills, and a strong track record of team building.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
