Job Description SummaryAs a systems verification engineer you will be working in large scale and complex project while working as a part of a global interdisciplinary team. The main focus is put on the activities on the right-hand side of the V model - supporting the verification process, but this does not exclude taking part in other stages of the projects.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Verification and validation of avionics systems
  • Working with documentation and customer requirements
  • Creating, planning and executing system tests based on requirements
  • Test reports creation
  • Tests results analysis
  • Raising and defining problems related to systems behavior, requirements
  • Technical documentation creation
  • Seek and provide feedback on design and development
  • Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas
  • Understand whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited university or college (technical field of studies - computer science, electronics, automation or similar)
  • Awareness of system/software design lifecycle
  • Efficient communication and ability to present technical data
  • High level of English language proficiency
  • Ability to read and understand code (mostly C)
  • Execute in a fast pace delivery mode and focus in delivering tasks to meet goals

Desirable:

  • Experience with industry communication buses (e.g. Automotive - CAN-Bus, Ethernet, RS485 etc.)
  • Knowledge of aviation communication protocols (e.g. A825, A429, A664)
  • Proficiency in one of the leading programming or scripting languages (preferably C/C++, Python)
  • Experience with requirements management toolsets (e.g. DOORS)
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Awareness of aviation industry standards (e.g. DO 178, DO 256, ARP 4754)
  • Experience with working and leading an international teams
