Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Staff Systems Engineer based out of Aurora, CO. This role will serve as the MAC-D SEIT Lead.
What You’ll get to Do:
• Lead technical management and execution of the SE team.
• Plan, execute, and close out program reviews and milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
• Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW), system requirements, and manage scope control of technical team.
• Synthesize system architecture’s
• Oversee configuration management of the overall Program Baseline
• Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
• Oversee the establishment and execution of the program lifecycle and work products
• Coordinate between the technical leads, program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Master’s degree; 8 years with a PhD
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application
- Experience leading technical teams.
- Experience in systems development, integration, and test.
- Experience in model-based systems engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mission Engineering for space and ground based communication systems
- Understanding of cyber security principles in relation to spacecraft design
- Ability to perform link analysis for communication interfaces
Salary Range: $171,000 - $256,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
