Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a Test Software Engineer to join the Integration Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) team, responsible for Test System Emulation, Design, and Integration. New Automated Test Systems are being developed in support of missile and launcher Software Development and tactical field testing for Air and Missile Defense, Air Dominance and Weapon Systems, and Tactical Missiles. The candidate will be a lead engineer, responsible for the software architecture used in Automated system emulator design, implementation, integration, and verification & accreditation. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role with criticality to near-term and long-term business results. The candidate will in the Enterprise Tactical Emulation Center Of Excellence to establish a common software framework baseline configuration in National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand for automated test systems used in weapon system emulation.

This position is for a LabVIEW Developer who will be part of a team of 4 to 7 engineers and will be responsible for the development of multiple complex test system modules, from concept to full implementation. Candidate will also be responsible for identifying solutions to modify existing emulation modules to support advanced weapon system integration. Candidate will organize test system requirements through system level requirements and subject matter expert (SME) stakeholder meetings, develop test system context diagrams, work within an agile plan to implement test systems, develop and integrate hardware and software modules, perform 100 code review and verify configuration control, implement continuous integration, and integrate finished test system.

Basic Qualifications:
-Certified in National Instruments LabVIEW/Test Stand development frameworks and software configuration control.

-Proficient with National Instruments Hardware.

-Experience solving automated test equipment (ATE) problems (hardware and software) in a production environment.

-Able to create, communicate, and execute a project plan -Good written and verbal communication skills and able to work in a team.

-Experience in a role with responsibility to work with other organizations to achieve business results.

**The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance**
Desired Skills:
-Proficient in LabVIEW FPGA development.

- Proficient in two or more of the following: C++, C, and python in addition to application of object oriented software design principles.

-Proficient with the requirements management lifecycle including test requirements for a complex system under test, automated test equipment or test system specifications (hardware and software), and configuration management of the requirements.

-Requirements Management with DOORS/Cameo.

-Proficient with developing test system specifications and performing analysis to design/fabricate a test system hardware architecture.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
