The role:
Strategic Planning Engineer
Fleet Technical Services is the operational heart of supporting BA Engineerings front-line operation. Covering all aspects of support roles - from Technical services, engine and structural specialists to maintenance planning and supply chain - we make sure BAs fleet is airworthy.
What you’ll do:
In this role you will be responsible for the co-ordination of large-scale programmes (for example engine change lines and modification programmes) as well as high profile events requiring involvement from areas across BA (e.g. press events). The is exciting and wide ranging role with plenty of scope of develop.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:
A proactive approach to your work and a keenness to learn and constantly develop. An ability to work with a wide rang of teams and backgrounds is essential, with tact and pragmatism.
Your experience:
Strong collaborator, an in-depth understanding of aircraft maintenance / planning activities and a background in leading large scale, complex projects. Ideally you will have experience in addressing senior leaders and a broad understanding of the factors affecting the aviation industry.
