Shape the Future of Aerospace with PDS Tech CommercialPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Mechanical/Structural Analysis Engineer to support an experienced team in the aerospace industry. This role involves performing structural analysis on spacecraft systems and subsystems, contributing to innovative solutions in advanced aerospace structures.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform static and dynamic structure analysis for spacecraft systems.
Review materials, structure systems, and subsystems to ensure optimal performance.
Select, analyze, and interpret technical data to maintain consistency with space applications.
Develop and evaluate design solutions while ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Release results in technical documents after team review.
Conduct and coordinate test programs to validate designs.
QualificationsBasic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Mechanical Engineering or Structural Analysis focus preferred) with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Ability to perform structural engineering tasks related to analysis, design, and testing.
Experience with NX FEMAP/NASTRAN (Equivalent spacecraft structural analysis tools considered).

Pay Details: $58.84 to $73.55 per hour
