Morson is delighted to be working in partnership with a market leading aerospace organisation, to recruit a Supply Chain Engineer for an initial duration until the end of 2024 (an extension is expected). The role will involve a hybrid working arrangement with a split of 2 days a week working from home 3 days a week being onsite in Bristol . As the role has been deemed Inside IR35, we can offer a rate of either 26.48 Per Hour PAYE or 35.03 Per Hour Umbrella for the successful candidate. Please find the job spec. below:

Job description:

As a Supply Chain Engineer you will work within the team led by the Lead Supply Chain and Quality Manager. You will be accountable for a portfolio of suppliers who supply equipment to multiple programmes. You will form a strong network across a multi-functional working environment.

This is a challenging role and is crucial in supporting my client to achieve on-time and on-quality product deliveries.

The department works on 3 main activities: Supply Management (Where quality, time and cost are our main concerns), Control Supplier (Where we ensure my clients products continuously meets
their Supplier’s Requirements) and Supplier Development (Where they anticipate complex issues, mitigate risks and develop supplier’s capabilities).

Accountabilities:
- Strong collaboration with suppliers to ensure On Time and on Quality deliveries in order to deliver parts to all customers (FALs and Plants).
- Work in partnership with the suppliers to support their development,
- Ensuring compliance of suppliers and products to applicable requirements with all relevant contributors Contributing to the Supply Chain voice in the MFT (Programme, engineering, customer services, buyer…)

- Industrial knowledge
- Interest for Supply Chain & /or quality topic
- Problem solving techniques
- Project management knowledge
