Job Description:

Description:This position will support the ATWS - MLD depot engineering team in troubleshooting and evaluating customer fielded hardware at the in-plant depot. Applicant should be able to interface effectively with multiple functional groups including production, planning, engineering, quality, contracts/subcontracts, and other logistics and support personnel to achieve completion of depot operation activities. The ability to design, develop, and implement testing and rework procedures to expedite the delivery of repairs is vital to the success of the depot. Should be capable of planning and arranging workload, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating hardware for all depot repairs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Familiarity with depot level maintenance procedures and repair methods
- Ability to understand schematics, generate rework instructions, diagnose faults and troubleshoot all-up assemblies to the SRU level and circuit cards down to the component level
- Ability to generate and maintain rework/retest instructions appropriate to the observed faults
- Ability to perform electrical measurements and analysis using a variety of tools, measurement, and test equipment (Multimeters, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzers)
- Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance prior to start
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Power Point, and Excel
Desired Skills:
- Experience with troubleshooting Electro-Optic equipment and electro-mechanical hardware
- Experience with designing and maintaining tooling, test, and support equipment
- A working knowledge of the following electrical elements: analog DC/DC regulators, analog-to-digital signal processing, AC small-signal filtering, signal buffering, EEPROM/FLASH/SRAM memory, FPGA, JTAG, fiber optic signal transmission, serial communication and basic TTL logic
- Ability to interpret object-oriented code (Labview, C++, TestStand) to better understand the nature of test failures
- Experience in supporting and interfacing with a production floor, fielding technical questions from manufacturers, inspectors, and testers
- Experience and Knowledge of Asset Management System (AMS) and usage of its modules
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills. Proper record-keeping of lab activities is a must
- Solder certification to include BGA and land/pad repair
-Experience with business activities to include workload planning, scheduling, proposals, and equipment requirements

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
