Todays challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. This critical mission area has to be done right, pass meticulous certifications, and last for many years to come. If this challenge is for you, you belong in ASP.
As a Requirements Systems Engineer for the GBSD program you will directly help establish the technical solution and overall system design for one of our countrys most vital and sophisticated strategic Systems!

As the Requirements Systems Engineer for Requirements and Verification, you will:
• Define the Requirements and Verification Baseline
• Develop Specification and Interface Control Documents
• Support development of Sentinel Program baseline, ground and flight test planning, and design reviews
• Participate in value driven Systems Engineering team and drive design evolution in a systematic and thoughtful way
• Work closely with the customer counterpart to develop, test and field a strategic system

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Systems Engineering, or related technical field experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering fields to identify technical product characteristics to develop requirements specifications
• Writing requirements documentation and coordinating release through approval process
• DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
• Active DoD Secret level clearance or above
Desired Skills:
• Experience in requirements and verification of Sentinel ICBM requirements
• Script modification and development, preferably with DOORS
• Experience with DOORS, ePDM and change processes
• Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to other internal/external teams
• Familiarity with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, FRR, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience coordinating with multiple key partners
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Masters Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
