Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team to support F-35 operations in Grottaglie, Italy. Note: Selected candidate will deploy from their current location and will not have to relocate to Greenville, South Carolina.

Responsibilities include:

• This position will oversee the Interim Contractor Support (ICS) aircraft maintenance team activities in order to accomplish “over-the-shoulder” confidence building, hands-on maintenance, and On-the-Job Training to the organic Italian Navy maintenance personnel.
• Must be willing to travel and go on Temporary Duty Assignments (TDYs) as required to support customer requirements. TDY Support shall include deployments aboard navy ships in support Italian customer.
• Travel to hazardous locations or support of locations in conflict may be required.
• US Department of Defense (DOD) mandated vaccinations may be required depending on deployment locations.
• Must be willing to work any shift including weekends to support customer needs.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must possess at minimum Interim Secret Clearance. Must have or be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• Must have at least 8 years Fighter aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must have at least 2 year F-35 aircraft maintenance experience (experience must be within the last 5 years)
• Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

• Thorough understanding of ALIS, Low Observables, Avionics, Weapons
• Experience managing maintenance and flightline activities
• Experience working with foreign partners.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
