Description:The Systems Engineer/Lab Manager will support multiple programs at the Orlando, FL Lake Underhill Lockheed Martin facility. This individual will be responsible for supporting the eCASS, LM-STAR, and LM-CORE test equipment labs. They will support efforts such as, but not limited to: station support and repair, inventory of LM and Government hardware, maintenance and storage of hardware, station operation, tooling, etc. Management of the labs also includes interaction with customer/Government individuals working in and touring the labs.
The eCASS lab supports the various configurations of the eCASS product line: Hybrid, Radio Frequency, Electro Optical, and High Power. eCASS is a franchise program producing eCASS test equipment systems for the U.S. Navy for both ashore and afloat applications. The eCASS lab is critical to ensuring high operational availability to the Navy, and includes U.S. Navy personnel. LM-STAR is another Automated Test Equipment (ATE) product in the business supporting F-16, F-22, F-35, and other platforms. The LM-STAR® lab is key to the support provided on the F-22 and F-35 Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs. LM-CORE is our next generation test equipment product, and is the future growth product in ATE. It supports various platforms from F-16 to missiles and space domains. Each of these automatic test equipment products and lab areas are critical to the business and to the support provided to our warfighters enabling their mission.
Performs technical planning, system integration, cost/risk and supportability analyses for lab systems. Coordinates with multiple groups to maintain an operational lab environment. Plans lab system hardware and software upgrades, modifications, new facility lab space, power/HVAC upgrades.
Performs support to the engineering teams in the labs, troubleshooting, upgrades for the systems. Tests parts received from the field sites, evaluates for repair or return to vendor (RTV). Provides configuration management of lab assets and documents system issues into a web-based tracking system. Reports lab status to development team and leadership for proactive monitoring and planning, conducts lab planning meetings. Performs government/capital property management and lab audit readiness preparations. Coordinates with security for lab visit requests, ensures users comply with security standards. Assignment is primarily for 1st shift work; however, program demands may require periodic 2nd shift/weekend assignments as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with complex systems integration; including troubleshooting hardware and software anomalies
- Leadership skills; including coordinating tasking between multiple groups, leading meetings, developing/performing presentations and working with cross-functional teams
- System installation/test experience
- Complex project management experience, system installation planning and coordination
- Property management/audit experience
- Logistics and inventory management
- Lab budget planning, capital expenditure requests
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- eCASS experience
- LM-STAR/LM-CORE experience
- Simulator and trainer lab technician skills
- Previous military and/or civilian experience maintaining or installing military systems in a facility or field environment
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
