The Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) organization within Engineering & Technology is hiring a Senior Manager to lead and champion Digital Transformation initiatives across the enterprise. The leader will be responsible for implementing and accelerating the adoption of MBSE initiatives and cross-functional integration in alignment with Corporate Digital Transformation initiatives. This position will be responsible for leadership, technical oversight, execution direction, cost and schedule performance, and future resource planning. This leader will partner with stakeholders, working with Aero business and broader Lockheed Martin Enterprise on key enterprise initiatives and align with counterparts in the business and the enterprise to determine strategy, roadmaps, technical direction and Digital Transformation roadmaps.

***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires a Secret clearance required to start.***

Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise-level strategic initiatives and improvement activities in support of Aero goals.
Partner with the Aero 1LMX team to solve strategic problems and help shape the future of Aero and LM.
Responsible for all functional leadership of the MBSE Enterprise Transformation team to include people, processes and tools.
Coordinate and resolve programmatic and technical issues across the program, identify risks, and appropriate mitigation plans.
Fosters innovation and appropriate risk measures to push delivery of advanced capabilities to drive affordability.
Promotes E&T affordability and effectiveness through increased use of common tools and processes.
Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary planning, recognition, disciplinary actions, career development, and succession planning.
Responsible for employee recruitment, creating requisitions, conducting interviews, selection, onboarding, training and competency development.
Responsible for workforce planning/forecasting through assignments of direct personnel to funded and high potential work.
Defines and aligns training needs and plans, Knowledge Continuity strategy, talent acquisition strategies, and ensures overall competency development and relevancy.
Enables fluid talent movement across the organization so we can move the work to the Engineer rather than moving the Engineer to the work.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Engineering discipline
• 10+ years of experience in the defense industry
• Systems Engineering experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience utilizing Earned Value Management to successfully manage tasks
• Must be a US Citizen. This position requires a Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
