As a Systems Integration Engineer III you will be using your skills to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our products at critical or highly sensitive base or remote locations. Youll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for our mature products and services, as well as developing products and services. Your technical responsibilities include support of the deployment of system upgrades to such as technical refresh of systems, technical installation of major hardware/software upgrades, system error detection and correction, and configuration management.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Subject Matter Expert support to field teams and system operators, with issues encountered in the field to include writing technical procedures, service bulletins and assistance in troubleshooting
- Test/Troubleshoot systems using test equipment engineering drawings, vendor manuals, schematics, and written/verbal instruction
- Provide in-flight test, troubleshooting and training support as required
- Load and make modifications to network switch and router configurations for operational and test use as required
- Operate a broad range of computing, networking, line of sight, and beyond line of sight systems
- Identify solutions for integrating new system components into existing architecture
- Liaise between local and visiting test organizations and Colorado AbMN engineering to support testing, integration/modification and verification/validation events and provide feedback
- Act as the host and on-site subject matter expert for customers i.e. government program office, military operators, and partner agencies such as National Reconnaissance Office and Idaho National Laboratories
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field of study and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience may substitute for higher education
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
- Understanding and experience with the practical application of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Understanding of and some experience with a wide variety of network related tools, concepts, technologies, best practices, and security procedures including Network File Systems (NFS, GPFS, Lustre, Samba, CIFS, etc.)
- Security+ Certified
- Familiar and experienced with domain network infrastructure including configuration of network switches, servers, network file servers, hypervisor hosts VMware and virtual machines
- Understanding of component integration
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques.
- Ability to provide onsite SME support for all customer agencies in the NW Florida area
- Must have outstanding communication and be able to establish strong customer relationships
- Ability to mentor on-site technicians
- Ability to deploy outside the continental US
- Ability to meet current deployment requirements including COVID BMI restrictions
- Must be able to complete aircrew training in accordance with local and federal requirements to include: Altitude Chamber Training (Air Force Physiological Training), FAA Class II Flight Physical, Local Area Survival; Water Survival Training
- Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
- Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
- Ability to deploy for a minimum of 30 days to various OCONUS operating locations
- Candidates will be expected to travel 50 of the time
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with DoD Software, Security, and Accreditation policies and tools
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
- Fluent in Radio Frequency technology such as LoS and BLoS radios and datalinks including Harris Tactical Radios, BAE Intelligent Broadcast Receiver, Blue Force Tracker, Location And Recovery System, VORTEX, Jetwave/KG250x, MIDS-JTRS, and SADL.
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics
- Hands-on experience with a wide variety of network related tools, concepts, technologies, best practices, and security procedures including Network File Systems (NFS, GPFS, Lustre, Samba,CIFS, etc.)
- ISR experience
