Description:You will be the Systems and Software Quality Engineer Associate Manager for the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for leading the development of innovative air and missile defense, precision fires, and sensors systems, delivering cutting-edge products and services to our military and civilian customers.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems and Software Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading and performing key areas of responsibility within the Software Quality Engineering discipline, developing and maintaining processes that adhere to AS9100 and CMMI standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Developing and maintaining Systems and Software Quality Engineering processes
•Ensuring adherence to AS9100 Quality Management System standards and CMMI
•Meeting program and customer requirements
•Leading and performing quality engineering activities

Basic Qualifications:
-Technical Engineering degree preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education

-Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

-Software Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test

-Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems / models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and AS9100.

-Experience with corrective and preventive action and experienced as a team lead and facilitator.

-Have excellent communication skills, and possess a proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with management of all levels and with customers.
Desired Skills:
-Bachelors degree in STEM field highly preferred.

-Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliers.

-Experience working with
Government customers and stakeholders.

-Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).

-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified -Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).

-Experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, etc.)

-Experience with creating and/or generating Basis of Estimates for Proposals. Deep understanding of Software Quality Assurance tasks and estimates is required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
