TEAM LEADER-ENGINEERING

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineering field + 6 years of experience
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Experience is using one or more of the following: CATIA V5/V6, VPM, 3DExperience, ESTEL, Electre
• Have a strong knowledge of EASA Part 21 subpart J and CS 25 regulations
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Be able to climb into various areas of an aircraft with or without reasonable accommodation
• Understanding of Dassault Falcon Jet processes and procedures

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters of Science degree in related engineering field
• Ability to read and/or speak French.
• Understanding of Dassault Aviation processes and procedures

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work in an open office at a computer for long periods.
• On occasion be around loud noises (greater than 120 dB (rivets being installed, jet engines, etc).
• Occasional domestic or international travel.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Lead a team in the completion of engineering data for assigned aircraft and projects.
• Assist team with design and recommend improvements
• Lead efforts for continuous improvement and design evolutions
• Check for compliance to customer, design and certification requirements.
• Monitor design quality, schedules and budgets for projects assigned to the team and report performances to management
• Assist in the bidding process for projects.
• Develop and maintain training materials for team.
• Conduct performance evaluations and assist in the hiring and discipline processes.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of department ISO documents.
