• Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of Bombardier aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports.• Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications.• Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.• Support statement of work creation and bids for new customer requests.• Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues and create deviation drawings as required.• Work in a team environment
• You hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with two (2) years of experience in business aircraft uinteriors design
• If you do not have a bachelors degree, you have a minimum of eight (8) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation.
• You are proficient in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCad or CATIA (preferred)• You have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).• You are proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)• You are a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.• You exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.• You are an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
